Chamonix is a famous resort area near the junction of France, Switzerland and Italy. At the base of Mont Blanc, the highest summit in the Alps, it's renowned for its skiing. Admire Mont Blanc from the Pic du Midi in just 20 minutes via the Aiguille du Midi cable car which climbs to an altitude of 3842m.
